Super Bowl Dad's Day

Thank you dads for coming in and helping students with the Super Bowl Mathemagician card.  Dads and students worked hard solving  math problems.  Watching everyone work together was great.  I think some dads missed their calling, they should have become teachers!  There's still time.

First Day Back from Winter Break

WOW, we had a great day today! Children were a bit tired at first but perked up quickly and got down to work. They wrote in their journals about the best or worst part of their break and learned how to extract information from expository text and organize it in a manner they will use to write their biographies. At the end of the day they took their first Timed Addition & Subtraction Fact test. The best part, 10 kids past it and will be moving on to take test 2 next week. Don't mean to brag but I think my 2nd graders worked harder today than my high school son!  Kudos to your kids!

Our Traditional Food luncheon was a blast. Thank you for sharing wonderful food with us! Children had a great day.
